The Constitutional Court has sent Justice & Development (AK) Party's defense to the Supreme Court of Appeals Chief Prosecutor's Office.
On Monday AK Party, yesterday, submitted its defense about merits of the case filed by Supreme Court of Appeals Chief Prosecutor Abdurrahman Yalcinkaya with the request of closure of the political party.
After examining the defense the chief prosecutor will make a verbal statement while AK Party executives will deliver their defense verbally.
K Party: No parliamentary recess until top court finalizes closure case

Turkey's ruling Justice and Development (AK)Party decided on Tuesday not to go into parliamentary summer recess until the closure case against AK Party was finalized.
In its meeting at the parliament, AK Party deputies agreed to suspend parliamentary recess until the Constitutional court delivers a verdict.

Once again Istanbul will host a musical extravaganza as the 15th International Jazz Festival is held between July 2 and 16.
International jazz stars will give nearly 40 concerts during the festival hosted by the Istanbul Culture and Art Foundation (IKSV) under the aegis of Garanti Bank.
Those concerts will take place in different locations like Cemil Topuzlu center, Sepetciler Palace, Esma Sultan Mansion, Hagia Eirene Museum, Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall, Archeology Museum, Nardis Jazz Club and Istinye Park.
In Turkey there is Jazz festival but nothing about any Islamic festival.
