Human Life and Sugar

Human life and sugar seems strange title but the point is that many things we take for granted and even joke about it like "Pass me the sugar please" and then we forget how this sugar came to this table. The human labor and survival come to play. The story about the sugar starts with the sugar cane fields usually in poor countries and the story of poor labor involved. Such segment of human population work very hard harvesting sugar cane plants and cutting by knives or kind of machetes. Some times their hands get severely injured or almost amputated. For what? to survive and live in our world.
They are invisible people and when you put few spoons of sugar in your hot beverage their story and labor are part of the past. They are the invisible hero.
