Democracy Distortion

The Democracy distortion term is introduced to address the measure of the fidelity of democracy in society. It measures aspects of distortion of democracy as desired in an ideal clear democracy. Distortion can be manifested in different forms for example if one considers the case when a small group in society has much more effect in and proportional decision influence in the society than their actual percentage number. The fact indicates very often politicians bend backward to please every kind of group so they do not lose their votes regardless of any merit to their case. Occasionally in a highly contested election 1 % to 2% of votes can make the difference between winning and losing. So for sake of attracting this tiny percentage of votes a politician may sacrifice a set of values.
