Alexanderia Beach Coast Egypt View
There are
many sandy beaches stretching from east to west: Ma'amura- Montazah- Mandara-
Assafra- Miami - Sidi Bishr - San Stefano - Glymonopolou - Stanley - Rushdy -
Sidi Gaber - Sporting - Ibrahimia and Shatby, all of which lie along the
seafront boulevard, the Corniche.
The 6th of October Beach
- The 6th of October sits on the most Western point of the Agamy region. Owing to its residential location, it is uncrowded and less polluted than the East. There is an entrance fee, and an additional fee to see the Marina.

Al-Hanovil Beach
- The second beach in the Agamy region, this beach enjoys pure water and lack of crowds. Al-Hanovil Beach does not have an entrance fee.
Al-Bitash Beach
- Al-Bitash Beach is the last beach of the Agamy region before the Western Harbor. Owing to its location near the commercial Harbor, most people avoid it and it does not suffer from overcrowding. This beach does not have an entrance fee.
Ras al-Tin Beach
- This beach does not have an entrance fee, but the tides here are too dangerous to allow for swimming.
Stanley Beach
- The entrance fee here does not cover huts and cabins that you can rent. This beach is crowded, and in between a bridge and concrete walls and buildings that block the view. However, it is a very clean beach.
Gleem Beach
- Gleem beach does not have an entrance cost and is generally overcrowded. However, this beach hosts entrances to private beaches, and includes several piers for fishing. There are sports and health clubs on the road leading up to and away from Gleem.
Sidi Bishr Beach
- The longest stretch of beach in Alexandria, this beach is free and crowded. The water is polluted by litter. In between Sidi Bishr and Sidi Bishr II lies the Mas'oud well.
Sidi Bishr II Beach
- This beach is less crowded than others owing to the entrance fee, and has an additional entrance to a private beach for an extra fee. Several cafes line the road up to and away from it.
Miami Beach
- Miami beach has clean water, and it does not have an entrance cost so it suffers from overcrowding. It is connected to Sidi Bishr II and is close to several cafes.
Mandara Beach
- This beach does not have an entrance fee, but suffers from pollution. There are several cafes and restaurants in this region, and a jetty to the West.
Montaza Beach
- The entrance fee here keeps crowds away, and this beach enjoys cleanliness due to the lack of people. It lies directly East of al-Montaza Palace.
Al-Maamoura Beach
- Like Montaza, al-Maamoura beach is clean owing to the lack of people and crowds. There is an entrance fee at this beach.
