The United Arab Emirates First of the Arab Countries to Recognize Kosovo

After long political winter United Arab Emirates took the long awaited step to recognize the Independence and the sovereignty of the newly established country of Kosovo. As such United Arab Emirates became the first of the Arab Countries to recognize Kosovo. This is too much an embarrassment it took them so long to take such step. Never the less they earned the distinction of being the first and only Arab country to recognize Kosovo even more than other 45 other countries had recognized Kosovo so far including the US, Canada and the bulk of major countries of the EU. Financial interest and prospects of economic opportunities may have played part.
On the other hand King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia played fool of him self when in May he announced that the recognition of Saudi Arabia of Kosovo will be coming soon, Looks like one needs to discover a snow ball in hell before he does that.
