There is no October surprise this presidential race coming the November 4, 2008 elections. President George W. Bush could have helped fellow Republican John McCain in his predicament facing the tough opponent Barack Obama by announcing some victory in Iraq and bringing some troops back with all the fanfare surrounding that. As such George W Bush left John McCain to his ultimate fates as polls indicates that his behind in some key battle ground states. The moral of the story that it is not good idea to throw a bucket of water on the head of fellow Republican in time of need.
