The tragedy of Mosques and Muslim women in the Islamic world is beyond proportions. Although it is obligatory for Muslim men to attend the Friday prayer called Jumaa and it is not obligatory for women. Therefore, in the Islamic world you do not see women in mosques. This needs to change and leading such change will be the women. They are the ones who can force change. Although women can be tied at home and can not go because of taking of children among other things, this does not preculde that many, many will like to go. Therefore, mosques in the future will be a large space designed only for women one can say one fourth to one third.
Muslim women want their presence in mosques.
