In Turkey A Common Folk Phrase Thank You Ata-Turk Not Thank You God or Allah

In Turkey a common folk phrase by the secularists and Kemalists is thank you Ata Turk. In other parts of the world may be Thank you Jesus, Thank you Allah or thank you Krishna but for the Kemalists is Thank You Ata Turk. Very strange indeed.
