Destroyed Mosques in Bosnia 1992-1993
During 1992 and 1993 war onslaught on Moslems the Serbs and Croats destroyed more than 370 mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina: some of the famous and historic mosques that were destroyed are:
Aladza mosque in Foca, destroyed in 1992
Arnaudija mosque in Banja Luka, destroyed in 1993
Ferhadija mosque in Banja Luka, destroyed in 1993
Turhan Emin Beg mosque in Ustikolina, destroyed in 1992 and rebuilt after the war. It was the oldest mosque in the country.
Such destruction is an absolute tragedy.
