Egypt and Kosovo The Case of Indifference and Who Cares Let Them Burn

During 1993 when the Kosovar Albanian Moslems were driven out of their villages and towns and Serbia strong man Slobodan Milosovic was in hurry in the process of throwing them out of the borders to no where the country of Egypt cared much less. Actually, when the West and the US press carried the stories of the unspeakable massive genocide and ethnic cleansing fully in great detail Egypt and the ultra secular and anti-Islam press did not cover any thing and embargoed any such news event coverage. Perhaps, in rare occasions a few very cryptic news agency item about some diplomat met another about Kosovo, like Kosovo was some moon in distant planet. More, the fanatically secular anti-Moslem Egyptian press like the Al-Ahram ran pictures of some women and children huddling in some small room in East Timor and carried that in front page, nothing, nothing, nothing about Kosovo this serendipity place. Although This tiny enclave of East Timor which became a country later had a population of two hundred thousands living some 10,000 miles away was more deserving of news coverage than the much closer by Kosovar Moslems at stone throw away on the other side of the Mediterranean shores. The monopoly of the secularists on Egyptian Press and Journals is shamefully very imperialistic and monopolist. No Islamic oriented press is an iota tolerated. In the mean time and in contrast the Coptic Christians who constitute from 7% to 9% of the population have their own press. One wonders Who dares to say no to them? They have their strong protectors abroad.
Back to Kosovo with Egypt seemingly and apparent hostility and indifference to it under the patronage of the fanatic secularists who again control all aspects of political life and the media first these hard core secularists are very ignorant or try the best to be deliberately ignorant about the 3000 years history of the indigent people that is the the Kosovars. The fanatic secularists in a news paper like Al-Akhbar equates the recognition of Kosovo with the recognition of four countries in Iraq. What preposterous if not out right feeble minded nonsense? They ignore that key west European countries like Britain, France and Germany, even Denmark and tiny Luxembourg and in addition of course to the US they had already recognized Kosovo. No country was divided after that after such recognition to the shock of the ignorant secularists. In Egypt the tragedy is the tragedy is the secularists not not the Islamic ones to summarize it.
