Los Angeles Security Guard Unions Fighting Slavery

The Los Angeles Security Guard Union is in fighting spirit against the city down town management property companies and demanding a new contract. The Union is demanding something better than the $8 to $9 per hour wages for its members. The Service Employees International Union are demanding an equitable wages at par with the Janitors Union who won a city wide contracts up to $14 an hour. The janitors won their decent contract after a long struggle and threat of strike and with the help of City Council resolutions backing them up. The five major property companies are in bargaining negotiation with the security guards union representing 4,000 man and woman. The Union is threatening a strike if they can not get a decent wages and benefits similar to that of the Janitorial union. So the free market theory is nonsense and it leads to slavery if one thinks that the management companies will pay the security guards a decent wage just out the goodness of their hearts. This will not happen even if the pigs sing. Tough Union negotiation is the way. Eat your hearts right wingers union haters.
