Do Not Blame Islam For Moslems Ignoring Islam

Moslems fell behinds for last centuries in catching up with science as it progressed in Europe. However, do not blame Islam for that because it had clearly commanded Moslems to seek knowledge any place in the world. At the beginning of the Islamic era Moslem scholars translated treasures of science and mathematics from Greek texts and other ancient languages. Lot of Moslem scientist became famous and wrote books and treatise. On the contrary Europe shied from that because they considered the Bible as the only source of knowledge, At the crusader times the European were exposed to the Moslem scholars and book references. As they returned they translated these books to the Latin and slowly, slowly started absorbing it and centuries later they started developing it further and in the 16th century it went into much an accelerated pace. In addition to the contacts at the holy land during the crusades the scientists in Europe had the exposure to the work of scientists in Andalusia and what is now known as Spain. This was an enormous push for these scientists. The Ottoman empire controlled vast territory of Islamic people and science stagnation was set.
