Polygamy in Islam Should Be Banned if For Pleasure

Polygamy and Islam is a puzzling question. Does Islam encourage polygamy? Polygamy is unfortunately understood to be a subject for Fun, Pleasure and Joking. As such it should be forbidden in Islam. Polygamy purpose for fun and pleasure should be absolutely forbidden in all countries of the world and this is not the purpose of polygamy in Islam when it was permitted.
Polygamy should be for higher moral reason and as an alternative for divorce when one wife for example become mentally crippled. In our world the man is tempted to dump her and find another woman who will make her happy. In Islam the husband can keep this wife in his house hold and not being destitute and find another wife if somebody else is willing to take care of the family and the invalid wife. If a man just want to have another wife for just of more pleasure this should be forbidden in all Muslim countries.

Another case in which a wife is unable to have children, while the husband very much wants them.
