English Official Language Nonsense

There are angry voices wants to impose English as Official Language. What nonsense is that is not English the language that is used in local and federal Governments, courts, congress and armed forces? So what is the super nationalist extremists want? They object to the recorded messages when dialing certain numbers like 911, utilities, banks and other businesses asking id you speak Spanish hit number #1 or #2 as an example. So what is the big deal about it? The demographic facts that there are large portion of the population who does not speak English adequately or very little few words like thank you good morning. They are generally Spanish speaking folks who came from Mexico and for some reason or another do not speak English well, so why we do not help them out. In elections some time times the ballot cards can be written in different languages like Vietnamese when there is large portion of the population in some districts are recent immigrants from Vietnam who are not versed in English. So what is the problem? America is an immigrant country and some of the new arrivals take longer to learn English than other. So what is the super patriot narrow minded folks who hates multi language dial phone menu mad about it. They should fade away and cut their noise.
