Right wing radio talk hosts slam any one who calls and complain about the low income living un-sustained wages. I think this is a legitimate concern. The discussion shifts to talk about taxes and each part of the society share of it. The right wing talk show masters like Peter Burns from KOGO a radio station in San Francisco retorts that the rich 5% percent pay 40% of taxes. The caller usually stumbles overwhelmed by numbers and math then got hanged on. The trick how much the total percentage income of the 5% rich and what percentage of taxes they pay? This is the proper question. On the other hand one should mention that some number of the rich have the sense of civic duties and donates to various valuable causes to the society. So this is not general bashing on the rich.
