A Terror Attack On London Central Mosque Imam

The hatred to Islam is very much intensifying fueled with all the radio and TV programs, articles in newspapers, magazines, published books and hate speech by the Pope and the likes of the now deceased Jerry Falwell. On early morning Friday, August 10, 2007 the 58-year old Azhar University Sheikh Mohammed Al-Salamoni Imam of the Regent's Park mosque in center London was beaten very badly as he was leaving the mosque was attacked and blinded by anti-Moslem Roman Catholic terrorist fanatic of Irish background the 40-years old Ryan Donegan from Hammersmith. The Imam who is very mild natured and extremely moderate lost the sight in his left eye completely with damaged retina while the right eye was badly injured but he can not see through it either and any chance he can see through it is unknown. Sheikh Mohammed Al-Salamoni suffered serious injuries in the head and also lost lot of blood. He was punched in the eye by the attacker and who used his finger to blind the right eye and then used a crucifix to blind the right eye. He subsequently was transfer ed to the Western Eye Hospital in Central London also. Some Muslim countries had pledged to cover the cost of the Imam eye treatment. The assailant in addition tried to suffocate the Imam and kept punching Sheikh Salamoni for nearly 20 minutes, with most of the blows landing at the cleric's face and obviously targeting the eyes. In addition the assailant attempted to attack another Moslem cleric at the centre. The London Police charged Ryan Donegan with committing grievous bodily harm and with assaulting a police officer. The hitch is that the police wants to paint the attacker as mentally impaired even he is in full mental capacity and as expected the police is struggling not to admit that is nothing less than a hate crime.
The suggestion is that there is a secret Christian terrorist group working in Britain whose mission is to attack mosques, Islamic centers and Imams. Not long time ago the Imam of a mosque in Glasgow was assaulted and severely beaten the connection may be alarming.
It is to be noted that the assailant of Imam Mohammed Al-Salamoni Imam was a regular visitor to the mosque and when he came 6:30 am was permitted to go to see the Imam even regular hours of such meetings start at 9:00 am. The security guards of the mosques were not at the center at that time. The Anti-Moslem fanatics in Britain rejoiced and some commented that this is retribution against Moslems, Red X Knight to name one a noted Journalist.
